Do I still have adware or trojan infection in my computer?

I had a major trojan infection that I thought I got rid of with Malwarebytes and McAfee Anti-virus. But I still have trouble with login SOMETIMES (when I turn on, it goes to the Safe mode options screen instead of desktop) and wrong links opening up on the internet SOMETIMES. What do I do now?

Re-install windows(Thats what i think you would have) And format the hdd, Also, Buy a External HDD so that you can back up your more important files Hope i helped
