How come my internet explorer constantly closes after tops of 5mns being logged in?
recently networked a few computers at my house. an older computer given to me for some reason will open internet explorer. shortly after on it the entire window closes and I have to start over. then it does it once more. I also notice things running in the background like infomercials etc. they pop up randomly. I think this particular computer has Adware or a virus of some sort.
Restart PC in safe mode by tapping F-8 key, choosing “Last known good Configuration” from menu (black screen). Next restart PC back into safe mode, but this time choosing “Safe Mode with Networking”. Download, update, run, Malearebytes checking what it finds. After restarting and back in normal mode run Malwarebytes again and ccleaner…Also try Firefox and see if it does the same thing. You might either have to uninstall and reinstall IE or Repair Windows using the Windows CD or Formatting and reinstall Windows itself…
