can i defrag my computer to get a virus off my memory?

i have a pop up virus or adware that is on my memory i need to get rid of its called WINIGUARD ALERT

No, Defrag only cleans the drive after something has been deleted. It doesnt delete things. Better either get a good anti virus ( i use norton) or wipe the drive and clean install.
