please help! my internet is suddenly running slow reaaaaally!?

On not where my internet is extremely slow.i bought a Dell XPS M120 laptop about 5-6 months ago.The internet was running really fast and super smooth until about 1 or 2 weeks. Now when I try to load a page, it takes forever to load and keeps calendar with error messages that say "can not connect to server" or "the connection has been exceeded", then when the page loads Finally, it usually loads in a kind of safe mode because the page seems funny. I use McAfee scans every Friday and Norton security scan as well and, recently, Norton Security detected a "potentially dangerous "thing called Zango adware has been downloaded a song I DL'ed limewire, so I deleted the song and did a rescan on both McAfee and Norton and he said that the computer was fine.I checked my network settings and everythings ok too but my internet is still super slow and I am absolutely tilt multi-task on several sites, please help! because it is really boring

Make sure you do not have McAfee and Norton installed. This may lead to competition for resources and slow your computer enormously. Try going hitmanpro http://www.hitmanpro.nl is a macro that runs at about 15 anti-spyware programs with all the parameters developed with minimal need beside the computer. Just hit Start, then accept everything, and it takes over. You can reset your default web settings by going to Internet Tools>> Options and setting any default button in all tabs. Also make sure you are not using a proxy server, which can sometimes cause problems. To check in Internet Explorer, go to Tools> Internet Options> General tab Connections> LAN Settings, and then ensuring that there is nothing there verified. I always remind people to delete files Temporary Internet Hitmanpro but remove them for you by using Disk Cleanup.
