Spyware Protect 2009 Virus?
I have the Spyware Protect 2009 virus computer. I am getting it fixed tomorrow, but I wanted to get a general knowledge of it before I head to the store to get it fixed so I know what’s going on and also so I don’t get ripped off with things I don’t need. Can you answer (all/any of) these questions for me please? (Particularly #3 and #4!) 10 points and thanks in advance!
1. What is Spyware Protect 2009 and how did I get it?

3. I’m hearing a website playing a video on my computer but I can’t see it. Is there any way I can get this to stop?
4. I had my My Book, USB Flash Drive, and Camera Memory Card plugged in while I obtained the virus, and I know these are also infected too because I plugged them into a different computer with Norton Antivirus and it said that it detected a virus. How do I fix these things?!

Spyware Protect 2009 is a rogue program classed as malware not a virus, you got it from going onto an unsafe site.

Yes, run free malwarebytes & free superantispyware.

Yes run hijackthis & get someone like me who can read your hijackthis log to see whats wrong.

Like I said Spyware Protect 2009 is not a virus so what virus was found on your My Book, USB Flash Drive, and Camera Memory Card ? more than likely a worm try free McAfee Avert Stinger or/& flash disinfector.
