i need adware and spyware remover… i have had problems with?

adaware 2007 for some reason, i have downloaded it twice on two different computers and it freezes during scan and spybot is too over the top… so any advice on something simple and effective in the way of free ad and spyware scanners would be appreciated… running xp pro by the way

and do a lot deeper scan than most.Make sure you use both.
