I think some adware prevents malware bytes anti malware my opening. Is this possible?

its on my desk top and it wont open … So I targeted when location is and it wont do. so I deleted and downloaded again from download.com … and it wont work again and I think that adware or malware or what not let me go on the site malwarebytes.org So I downloaded Ad-Aware Free and deleted what it found and rebooted the model and its still not gone … What should I do? It does not work when I put it in RUN. Can I do it manually?
