my computer has spyware and now my desktop lost it’s icons how do I fix my computer?

So I was trying to download a movie from Vuze, when the computer just automatically downloaded some spyware that looks like it’s from Windows. It took over my computer and disabled my task manager. It’s gotten so bad that now I have no icons on my desktop and have to find new ways just to log into the internet,, how do I get rid of the spyware and restore my settings including my desktop icons??

well you reached a very bad state that i don’t believe it could be fully reversed.
obviously you do not have an anti virus
there are several issues that determine what can you do
if the spyware left some privilege for you than you can download an anti spyware or anti virus such as zone alarm and use the two weeks free membership.

if you can not do major tasks on your computer then try to pull out your hard disk drive and plug it as secondary hdd or external hdd on another pc pr laptop and then scan it using the anti virus-anti spyware on the 2nd computer.

most likely your windows is not recoverable so at least recover your data and scan them against malware then re-install windows on your original computer.
