if using p2p file sharing software you risk virus Adware Spyware etc, but what if it’s on another account?
i have a laptop and haven’t been downloading since i don’t want to risk viruses etc. but, if i create another account on the same computer(ie my account and a guest) and use the guest account to download media using bearshare, limewire, bittorrent, etc and then transfer that onto a USB drive and then log into my account and paste it to my account. if i happen to get spyware/viruses on the guest account, would that transfer onto the whole computer and affect my account as well? or is it local to the guest account? thanks!
yes it will, virus are so smart these days. Some virus will target your bios too.
