Adware Antivirus Pro 2010

Scammers are one of the hardest problems to fight on the Internet. There is no wonder when you consider that rogue antispyware programs like MSAntivirus can generate hundreds of thousands of dollar a week tricking people into buying their malicious programs.

What MSAntispyware does when it infects a computer is very similar to what real antispyware programs do. After it infects a computer it runs a scan that is completely bogus. The scan then tells you that your computer has a problem and the only way to remove it is to buy the full version of MSAntivirus. People that get tricked into buying MSAntivirus end up with more bogus software and they are out the money they paid for this malware.

MSAntispyware is not the most malicious of the potential threats on the Internet; it is really just a big inconvenience that will constantly flood the screen with pop-ups trying to get the user to buy the full version of the program when in fact the full version is already on the computer.

Aside from the annoying pop-ups, MSAntivirus also blocks many of the most well known legitimate programs that were designed to keep the threat off a computer in the first place.

MSAntivirus has dozens of aliases that seem to change every few months. No matter what one scammer or another calls it, the core parts of the software are the same. Some of the aliases include: Vista Antivirus, Win Antivirus, Antivirus Pro 2009, and Antivirus 2007 thru 2010, just to name a few.

According to the Federal Trade Commission, MSAntivirus and its aliases have duped millions of people into paying various fictitious companies millions of dollars. The U.S. District Court in Maryland on December 2nd, 2008 issued temporary restraining orders against Innovative Marketing, Inc. and ByteHosting Internet Services, LLC for using several of the MSAntivirus aliases to con people out of money. The court also seized their assets to try to help the victims of this scam.

If you encounter MSAntivirus on your computer you should do two things. First find a malware removal program that is 100% guaranteed to remove every threat on your computer. Then contact the Attorney General in your state and report the incident and how your computer got infected in the first place. The only way to stop these types of scams is to draw the attention of the authorities who work daily to protect people from these scams.

I personally used to just remove these types of programs from my computer manually, but as the threats grow and get renamed very day, keeping up with it all can be difficult. That is way I use Spyzooka, the only malware removal program on the market that is backed with a 100% guarantee to keep you safe from threats like MSAntivirus. If you are using one of the other programs you should remember that many of these types of malware can block many of the available programs that are not guaranteed. You should go to http://www.spyzooka.com/spyware-removal-guarantee.htm and try the free scan and see how protected you are.
